Thanks, DEAR!

It is 7:45pm on a Wednesday night..."My PGA Man" just told me that he needed
to take something to work for a covered dish meal on Thursday.  I then said, "this week
has flown by...are you sure you need it tomorrow??".  He was quick to answer, "no, we can buy
something and make it tomorrow night".  BUT.....he was WRONG...
tomorrow is Thursday and I began to dig through the pantry
and refrigetator thinking..what can I make? OR what is already made? NOTHING!

I asked him if he could run to the store to buy something....."no" again...
he has two conference calls tonight...and the first one was in 15 minutes.
"Holy, Moly!!"
So...I looked at my new December Cookie Magazine.....
NO....those were too complicated.
So.....I decided on my old stand by cookies...
the only cake batter I had tonight was strawberry so..Strawberry Cookies it is!
Linda Hamilton's Oh, So Easy Cookies!
better known as "Honey"
(God rest her wonderful soul....I miss you, sweet lady!!)
2 eggs
1 box of cake mix
1/2 cup oil
1 can of frosting (you don't even need this if you want them plain!)
** you can use this same recipe with plain cake mix and add 1 cup of your
favorite add-ins...chocolate chips, pecans, peanut butter chips, etc...
Mix the cake mix, oil and eggs.
Drop on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-14 minutes until the bottom of the cookie starts to brown.
Let cool then frost with icing.
Strawberry Iced Cookies..Mmmm!
Not too FANCY...but mighty TASTY.
And I am finished by 8:45!!
What an accomplishment!
I think I may have saved the day?
The EEs (Electical Engineers) at Freescale will love them.....PINK and all!

Funny thing is.....when this all started I had the worst headache....now it is almost GONE!
I love "My PGA Man"....even if he did made his first mistake EVER....
tonight is WEDNESDAY, DEAR!
