We spent three days prior to our cruise in New Orleans (NOLA)....
I have been there many times in the past for Jazz Fest, Sugar Bowls, Weddings,
Mardi Gras, etc
.....but this is Rob's first visit to THE BIG EASY!

Photos on Bourbon Street...we just ventured there one evening for dinner.
All of our other outings were off of Decatur Street.....
We ate at Red Fish Grill....delicious NOLA food!
I had...BBQ Oysters, Dinner Salad with Crab and Blue Cheese,
Crab Croquettes (Crab, Gulf shrimp and cream cheese croquettes served with
roasted beets, pecans and an apple rosemary vinaigrette.)
Rob had Southern Comfort BBQ Shrimp and Gumbo
You can see our dessert...the best dessert of our trip!!

We had been on the plane with these guys from Dallas...they sat in first class...
We had no idea who they were until we saw them again at Cafe Du Monde.

We were mostly impressed with Steve Harvey's body guard...
...Boomerang a.k.a."Big Boom"!
He had on shoes that cost over a thousand dollars and was dripping in diamonds..
while carrying a huge leather saddlebag!

We loved eating at this diner right by our hotel....
delicious macaroni and cheese, sweet tater fries, coconut
cream pie, peanut butter pie...the list goes on!!
