The Live Music Capital of the World...ATX!

"Play Me, I'm Yours"
The streets are alive with the sound of music. That is nothing new for the Live Music Capital of the World. But a new art project has arrived in Austin that is striking a chord.

"Play Me, I'm Yours" is a month-long art project that will spend April spreading the joy of music in Austin.

Fifteen pianos will be placed around the city for anyone to play. It does not matter if you know how to tickle the ivories or not.

The international project got its start in 2008 and has now installed pianos in more than 400 cities around the world.

A singer/songwriter from Houston and was in town playing at UT's Forty Acres Fest. He heard about this project from a friend and thought it would be cool to do a video using some of the different pianos involved with this project. Here is a compilation video of "Bennie and the Jets"
